not you're a fan of compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) and do not want to pay both an LED? Fall bulbs electron-stimulated luminescence (ESL), designed by Vu1 Corporation. The bulb has just passed the UL certification - which means we will soon appear in stores.

The bulb works by stimulating the phosphor to generate light, creating a look "bright" surface of the bulb. Last 10,000 hours, ESL is free of mercury and is supposedly as energy efficient as LEDs and compact fluorescent lamps - and is adjustable. Vu1 emphasizes that his light bulb can be removed without having to worry about toxic chemicals and produces 50% less heat than incandescent light. Posted
